The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is offering the Lieutenant Colonel Henry Kirkpatrick Masters Scholarship for the academic years 2023–2024 in London, United Kingdom.
This scholarship is open to international students.
Benefits of the scholarship:
There is one studentship available for the academic year 2023–2024. This full-time, one-year scholarship will pay for the following expenses:
- Full tuition for the MSc Public Health for Eye Care programme at the overseas fee rate
- GBP 19,500 tax-free stipend for living expenses
- flights and visa fees (including the international health surcharge)
- GBP 1,500 for the MSc project and
- GBP 1,100 after the course is successfully completed to be used towards attendance at the Alumni Workshop the week before graduation.
Procedure for Application:
There are two steps in the application process. By the scholarship deadline of 23:59 (BST) on Sunday, April 16, 2023, applicants must meet all eligibility requirements and complete both steps outlined below in order to be considered for the funding.
In order to be considered for the scholarship, candidates must complete the scholarship application and submit it by the deadline if they have already submitted a completed 2023–24 London–based MSc Public Health for Eye Care MSc application for study or have received an offer of admission.
Before the deadline for the scholarship, applicants should make sure that all required supplemental materials (including references) have been uploaded via the school’s admissions portal. Before beginning their studies, applicants accepted into an LSHTM MSc programme must show proof that they meet the LSHTM English Language requirements. By the time this award is being shortlisted, applicants for this funding should be able to demonstrate that they have taken steps to satisfy this requirement (like setting a date for the test). (May 2023).
