Mycoten Contains Clotrimazole 1% Broad-Spectrum Antifungal Dermal Cream And Vaginal Cream /Tablets.
What made up of Mycoten Cream?
Mycoten contains the synthetic fungicidal broad-spectrum Antifungal agent, Clotrimazole chemically identified as Bisphenyl-(2-chloropheyl)-1 imidazolymethane.
Mycoten Cream Usage
Mycoten cream is effective in the treatment of fungal skin infections due to dermatophytes, e.g. Trichophyton species, yeast_ e.g. _Candida species, moulds and other fungi such as Tinea capitis, corporis, manuum, baebae, cruris, pedis (athlete’s foot), Pityriasis versicolor, erythrasma.
Mycoten cream or tablet is also used in the treatment of vaginal yeast infection
Please note: Mycoten cream or Tablet is contraindicated in individuals who have shown hypersensitivity to Clotrimazole or any of the components of the cream or tablet.
Note the precaution
If local irritation or allergic reaction should occurs, the treatment should be discontinued.
Mycoten Vaginal Cream and Tablet is effective in the treatment of Vaginal candidiasis associated with pregnancy, but should be prescribed with caution during the first trimester.
How to apply Mycoten Cream for your skins
Mycoten cream is thinly applied to the affected part and rubbed in two or three times daily.
Duration of the treatment could be up to 2-4 weeks depending on the extent and the site of the disease. Mycoten Vaginal tablet (100mg) should be inserted deep in the vagina once daily, using the applicator supplied, and preferably at bed time.
Mycoten Tablet is effective when applied for 3 or 6 or 14 days.
Is it possible to insert Mycoten cream in My Virginia?
Yes. Mycoten Vaginal cream – one completely filled applicator should be inserted deep into the vagina and preferably at night for six consecutive days.
